The Green Cadastre and the new park are financed through the IPA project for cross-border cooperation between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia – PARKS.

The creation of the Green Cadastre in the Municipality of Kriva Palanka is currently underway.
This document aims to register 5,000 green points throughout the city. At the moment, half of them have already been catalogued, and its publication is expected to be finalized during the summer.
Measurements are also ongoing in the Municipality of Dupnitsa, Bulgaria, where greenery is currently being documented. The Green Cadastre is an important tool for monitoring urban greenery in cities. Only through accurate knowledge of the current state can improvements be made.

With the development of the new park, Kriva Palanka’s greenery will be enriched with another space for recreation and leisure for its citizens. The park will be presented to the public by the end of June.

The Green Cadastre and the new park are financed through the IPA project for cross-border cooperation between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia – PARKS.

The PARKS project aims to support the improvement of quality of life in cities by creating more urban green spaces. As part of the project, greenery in the cities of Dupnitsa and Kriva Palanka will be significantly enhanced.
